This week at daycare we were informed that Griffin is a "good little baby". I will take their word for it, seeing as how they see lots of babies, and I've really only been around this one for an extended period of time. At first I was afraid he'd really give them a run for their money since he'd been fussy recently, but he always seems calm when I drop him off and is either sleeping or staring around the room in a bouncy seat when I come to get him, so it is going well at this point.
This week we noticed that baby is easy to make smile and laugh as long as he's in a relatively good mood. Before this week you could maybe get him to smile by smiling and talking to him, but now it is almost guaranteed.
He still likes his mobile, so the novelty has apparently not worn off yet. We got him a play gym this week too, since we really didn't buy him many toys with the move and all. He seems to like it, but doesn't really know what to do with it yet.
He's also getting used to the camera, looking and smiling into it a bit more, and not quite as thrown off by it. We went to the play group again this week, and saw some new babies, as well as some from last week. Now that he's in daycare, I'm going to pull him out early every two weeks for the group, so we can continue to meet the neighborhood kids, even while I'm working. It is nice to have that kind of flexibility, so I hope to take advantage of it here and there.
