Week 3 - Screaming

Griffin has two modes: sleeping and screaming. Not crying, screaming. Screaming until his face turns purple and no sound comes out of his mouth. He goes directly from sleeping to the screaming without even opening his eyes sometimes. There is no predictable solution. We can tell when he wants to be fed (most of the time), but there is some variability to how well he feeds, thus sometimes he may go 2 hours, other times much less. Sometimes he will take a pacifier, sometimes not. Occasionally, we will wrap him (photo 2) and that calms him down. He eventually calms down regardless, and supposedly crying for an infant under 2 hours a day is normal, but the bloody murder screaming with no apparent cause is tiring.
We are getting sleep, Eric more than Jaime. And we are getting work done, Jaime more than Eric.
This next week, I (E) will be in Baltimore looking for a house and Jaime's friend Meagan will be in from Brooklyn to see the baby.
