Ok- so we were all tired this week. I got some paintings off to Gallery Nucleus for a show that is going on there now. Eric's second time taking call ended in this picture of him and Griffin sleeping.  I asked Eric if he wanted to hold baby while I finished with dinner quickly, and again, he thought he was up to the task. A few short minutes later, both were asleep with their heads hanging back, mouths both open.
Griffin waking up after a nap in the big bed.
There are some things we do just for the cute picture. Like shoving a stuffed animal in a baby's arm to look like he is hugging it, or putting a baseball cap on an infant because it truly entertains the adults around.

But if I could say one thing that has been going on this week with Griffin, it is that he cannot stop putting his hands in his mouth. I have about 50 pictures of him with his hands in his mouth this week, and very few without. He is starting to use his hands a little bit more too. He grabbed one of his toys from the Play Gym yesterday. That's a first, though truthfully, I can't say it was a calculated move.
