Griffin is getting bigger. He's almost out of his newborn diapers. When we hold him we realize he is getting much longer. He is still figuring out how to use his limbs, so we can't keep a blanket on him for long before he kicks it off.

Here Eric is holding Griffin, who is sporting his new "Nerdling" t-shirt we got him at the Maker Faire.
This week was more eventful than last. Griffin had visitors from Montana ( the Summers family), so he was held pretty much all week, even while sleeping. He's also beginning to smile a lot more, and is much more alert than last week, spending a fair amount of time just sitting in his Boppy and staring out the window.
He seems more content, probably because he is able to start exploring his surroundings, and doesn't always rely on us for his amusement.
We did see a bit more of the sleeping baby we all love this week too. Packing is still coming along slowly and we take turns getting things done, but Griffin has allowed us at least to accomplish a few things during week 7. My one-way plane ticket is now booked for Baltimore on the 1st of June, (yes I'll be the one with the baby that everyone avoids) so we've got two weeks to finish an incredible amount of packing and wrapping things up.
